Our story

A Newlands institution since 1999

Basilico restaurant on the corner of Kildare Road, Newlands

Nestled in the heart of Newlands Village with magnificent views of Table Mountain, Basilico has been serving fine Italian food in a relaxed and comfortable setting for over two decades.

We pride ourselves on our pastas and salads, but it is our particularly delicious wood-fired pizzas that keep guests returning time and again.
